The zoo has flying monkeys? I thought only Elphaba controlled them after they left Pennsylvania after Quelala used the Golden Cap to command them to stay away from Gayelette. Then Elphaba used the Golden Cap to control them to help conquer the Winkie Country, defeat the Great Oz, and capture Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion, destroying the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman in the process. But in the end Glinda free them by giving them the golden cap.
The flying monkeys are now able to relax and rest in the zoo environment after their long, torturous slavery to Shankill and her ruthless requirement that they watch Zaralin's every move. The flying honey badgers (FHB) have now taken over their duties, but the FHB are none too happy with their plight. I hear that they have hired Gloria Allred to get them out of their indentured servitude.
